When Juan Ponce de León was in Florida looking for the Fountain of Youth in 1513, he should have just given up and started eating blueberries. With all of their healthy vitamins and nutrients, it just so happens that blueberries are very good for skin. If someone is having trouble with uneven skin tone, acne, or oily skin, they should start eating more blueberries. The vitamin A in blueberries helps fight free radicals which are responsible for aging, and possibly cancer. Eating blueberries will help skin look young and healthy.
When coupled with other ingredients, blueberries can be used as a mask to help skin have a better moisture content, younger looking skin, and fewer wrinkles.
If you have acne, try mixing blueberry and turmeric for your face mask. Leave it on your face for 15 minutes or so, and then completely rinse it off. Your face will feel smoother and be more blemish-free.
Maybe you have oily skin. For this, mix blueberries with fresh lemon juice for your mask, and your skin will immediately have a cleaner and more natural shine to it.
If you would like to have fewer wrinkles and lines, your mask should include blueberries mixed with olive oil. This is excellent for turning back the clocks on your skin.
Do you have uneven tones on your skin or dark circles under your eyes? If so, mix up aloe vera gel with blueberries for your next mask. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, and then rinse it off completely. You should see more even results.
You might have dry skin that needs hydration. If so, find some good yogurt to mix with blueberries for good hydration. This will give you a skin a wonderful glow. Again, leave it on for about 15 minutes and then rinse off completely.
So instead of traipsing through the jungle like Ponce de León did 500 years ago, just go to your local grocery store and pick up blueberries and some other healthy ingredients for an age-reversing mask to go on your face and skin.
