Little Changes campaign continues in 2020

ourlittlechanges-300x170-3439420After a successful Little Changes campaign in 2016, the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council is continuing its Little Changes campaign In 2020 by encouraging people to adopt little changes in their lives geared toward achieving a healthier lifestyle. A significant part of the campaign is to share healthy-living tips and ideas through social media.

#OurLittleChanges Social Movement

One direction of the campaign hopes to convince parents of the convenient and nutritious benefits blueberries can have in their fast-paced routines. The campaign is broken into three parts. The first of the year is #OurLittleChanges Social Movement in January-February, just after New Year’s. A major aspect of this movement involves teaming up with a friend or relative, because people are more likely to keep their resolutions if it means helping someone else. This part of the campaign encourages tweeting about the positive results to cheer others on.

100 days of Summer

Another part of the campaign is the 100 days of Summer. This part provides shareable materials to parents that promote 100 ways to be with the family during 100 days of Summer, and it includes ways to participate in wholesome activities like picnics, cooking, games etc.

Little Changes Holiday Recipes

The last part, the Little Changes Holiday Recipes, takes place during the holidays at the end of the year. This part promotes several healthy, time-saving blueberry recipes, perfect for sharing at holiday get-togethers.

For the second year in a row, the face of the campaign is actor/author/fitness host Alison Sweeney who will help promote the healthy Little Changes campaign. “It feels good to cheer on others on their journey to live a little healthier,” said Ms. Sweeney. “The more we surround ourselves with positive energy, the more likely we are to continue the cycle of motivation to live a healthier lifestyle, passing it along to those around us.”
